Can't wait to get rid of my monitors and have a virtual desktop with several work panels side to side! We are at a pivot point in regards to ergonomy and the definition of interaction and tools around us. Virtual Desktop is launching March 28th. Virtual Desktop is "the kind of tool that changes VR from a gimmick to something that might be more usable on a day-to-day basis". Had the pleasure of participating in the Unity 360 VR Meetup last night held by the guys from New York VR University within the Off-Campus General Assembly Technight.
While beer and pizza set 50% of the tone, Lex Dreitser from NYVRU managed to communicate his passion for VR and shed just enough light on the VR Unity workflow to make it accessible.
